• Bacteria will grow above 34 degrees.... so freezing right away is the best way to make sure you have a quality mount.
  
• Ice chests with ice, walk-in coolers, & refrigerators are NOT suitable means of storage before bringing an animal to a taxidermist.
• Water (from melting ice) & heat will spoil an animal or hide.
• Do NOT salt hides.
